College Park entered the playoffs as the District 9 runner-up and faced District 10 third-place Aldine in the bi-district round. An 8–0 win is a shutout—College Park scored eight goals while holding Aldine scoreless.

Clear Creek advanced by beating Sterling 22–3. So College Park gets a considerably tougher opponent in the Area round: Clear Creek is one of the stronger teams in the bracket and entered the postseason after going 10–0 in district play.
