The City of Conroe offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time firefighters. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; long-term disability coverage; a pension plan; deferred compensation options; paid vacation and sick leave; and access to city recreation facilities.

Minimum qualifications include being between 18 and 35 years of age, holding U.S. citizenship, possessing a high school diploma or GED, meeting vision and hearing standards, maintaining a clean criminal and driving record, and obtaining firefighter and EMT certifications prior to receiving a conditional job offer.
