Football: After the Delay, Rosado’s Winning Kick Lifts Grand Oaks Past Klein Oak

Shenandoah, Texas - Grand Oaks High School kicker Kaden Rosado (35) is carried off the field after his game-winning field goal lifted the Grizzlies to a 38-35 victory over the Klein Oak Panthers on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, at Woodforest Bank Stadium in Shenandoah, Texas.

The game began Thursday night but was suspended for rain and lightning, with Grand Oaks leading 28-21. When play resumed Saturday, Klein Oak tied the game before Rosado delivered the winning field goal.

Rosado, a Class of 2027 kicker and punter, was selected to the Touchdown Club of Houston’s 2026 Preseason All-Greater Houston Team.
