A Chance for Young Dancers to Hone Their Skills
The Grand Oaks Royal Pride is inviting dancers from 6th to 11th grade to participate in a unique Drill Team Intensive workshop designed to boost their dancing skills and prepare them for upcoming tryouts. The workshop, led by the esteemed Royal Pride Directors, promises a blend of fun and rigorous training.
Aspiring dancers in the Woodlands area are presented with a remarkable opportunity to advance their dance techniques with the Grand Oaks Royal Pride Drill Team. The intensive workshop is scheduled for February 16th from 9 am to 12 pm and will cover a range of styles, including warm-ups, technique sharpening, and a special jazz/contemporary combination routine.
This event is particularly significant for those looking to try out for any local drill team, providing them with valuable feedback on their technique and movement quality from experienced directors. The focus on contemporary and jazz styles ensures a diverse skill set for the participants.
With an entry fee of $55 per dancer, the intensive is an affordable opportunity for students to step out of their comfort zone, enjoy the camaraderie of fellow dance enthusiasts, and receive professional feedback before the drill team tryouts season begins.
