THE WOODLANDS, Texas — For 30 years, Interfaith Community Clinic has helped Montgomery County residents receive medical care regardless of their ability to pay. The nonprofit, which now provides nearly 6,000 patient visits annually, will celebrate that milestone with its 30 Years of Hope, Healing & Health anniversary reception Monday, Nov. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Amerigo's Grille in The Woodlands.

The reception will recognize the medical professionals, volunteers, donors and community partners who have supported the clinic since its founding in 1996. The evening will feature cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, with proceeds supporting the clinic's continued services for uninsured residents.
Founded by Dr. Joel Kerschenbaum as South County Community Clinic, the organization began with a goal of making quality healthcare available to neighbors who otherwise might go without treatment. Three decades later, that mission has expanded to include medical and dental care, behavioral health counseling, preventive screenings and assistance managing chronic medical conditions.
"Reaching 30 years is an incredible testament to the compassion and generosity of this community," said Missy Herndon, president and CEO of Interfaith Community Clinic.
The clinic relies heavily on volunteer healthcare professionals, with approximately 90% of its services performed by licensed volunteers. Its programs include diabetes and blood pressure management, well-woman examinations, referrals for mammograms and other screenings, and medical and dental checkups for children.

The organization's reach has also expanded beyond its primary clinic at 101 Pine Manor Drive in Oak Ridge North. A satellite location serves patients in Cut and Shoot, while a partnership with Compassion United brings medical services to people experiencing homelessness at the Miracle City campus in Conroe.
The Nov. 16 anniversary reception will also raise funds to help sustain those services.
Tickets begin at $100 for a Community Wellness Supporter admission. The $500 Beacon of Healing sponsorship includes two tickets, digital marketing recognition and event signage. A $1,500 Hope for Our Neighbors sponsorship includes five tickets and the same promotional recognition.

Amerigo's Grille, located at 25250 Grogans Park Drive in The Woodlands, is underwriting the reception.
Tickets and sponsorships are available through the clinic's online registration page.
