Dragon Divers Make a Splash: Robson Wins 1M, Burgos Secures Second

The John Cooper School's Morgan Robson clinched first place in the 1M female dive at the SPC South Zone meet, with teammate Diego Burgos following closely with a second-place finish in the boys 1M dive. This victory propels the Dragon Swim & Dive team into the spotlight as they prepare for the upcoming SPC Championships at the University of Houston.

The John Cooper School's Dragon diver, Morgan Robson, has once again made waves in the competitive diving community by securing the top spot in the 1M female dive at the recent SPC South Zone meet. This achievement marks another milestone in Robson's illustrious diving career, further solidifying her status as a leading figure in high school diving.

Diego Burgos, another talented diver from The John Cooper School, showcased his skills by placing second in the boys 1M dive, contributing significantly to the team's overall success and demonstrating the depth of talent within the Dragon Swim & Dive team.

Morgan Robson, a rising senior, has been recognized for her outstanding achievements by being named an All-American Diver by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) in 2022 and 2023. This prestigious honor, awarded each June, identifies the top 100 male and female high school divers nationwide, highlighting Robson's exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

Looking ahead, Robson has committed to continuing her diving career at The University of Texas at Austin in the fall of 2024. Her commitment to excellence and passion for diving promise to bring her continued success at the collegiate level.
