Potbelly Closes Market Street Location in The Woodlands

June closure leaves closest location in Spring

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Potbelly Sandwich Shop has permanently closed its location at Market Street in The Woodlands, according to the company’s website and local signage.


The restaurant, located at 9595 Six Pines Drive, Ste. 930, closed in June. It had served made-to-order sandwiches, salads, soups, smoothies, and baked goods in the area for several years. No official reason was provided for the closure.

Potbelly Corporation is scheduled to report its second-quarter fiscal 2025 earnings on Wednesday, August 6, after market close. The restaurant brand continues to operate nearby, with the closest location now at 1660 Louetta Road, Ste. 100, in Spring.

The closure comes amid broader shifts in retail and dining traffic in Market Street and follows other regional closures in the fast-casual sector.
