The John Cooper School Honors Seniors at 2023 National Signing Day!

The Dunlap Gymnasium on the John Cooper School campus buzzed with excitement on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, as the community celebrated a momentous Signing Day Ceremony. The event honored the commitment and achievements of three distinguished seniors, each signing their National Letters of Intent (NLI).

Morgan Robson, a prodigious diver, took center stage as she committed to The University of Texas at Austin, ready to don the Longhorns emblem. Her athletic artistry and unwavering dedication have poised her for splashing victories in Austin, Texas.

Neil Mallik followed, wielding his bat with the same excellence that earned him a spot with the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers. His baseball prowess has been a beacon of hard work and has set a golden standard for athletes in Golden, Colorado.

Lastly, Felicity Sebastian's name was called, a fencer whose en garde is as sharp as her intellect, now set to join the University of Notre Dame's Fighting Irish. Her ambition and skill are sure to score points in South Bend, Indiana.

Under the proud gaze of John Hoye, Director of Athletics, and amidst the applause of teammates, friends, faculty, and family, these seniors stepped forward. They signed their NLIs, not just affirming their collegiate destinations but also marking the culmination of years of sweat and triumph.

The John Cooper School has long celebrated such ceremonies, recognizing them as more than mere formalities but as milestones of a student-athlete's journey. As this trio embarks on their next chapter, the school community sends them off with cheers, hope, and the expectation of greatness to come.
