Wilkerson Intermediate School Hosts Colorful Pep Rally

Students Celebrate Upcoming Color Run Fundraiser

Wilkerson Intermediate School kicked off the excitement for its annual Color Run with a spirited pep rally held at Knox Jr. High School Campus on Thursday.

The event brought together 5th and 6th graders for a morning filled with performances and school spirit. The McCullough Highland Girls, Knox Gingham Girls, Knox Jr. HS Cheerleaders, and Color Guard showcased their talents, while the College Park High School Drum Line, Cheerleaders, and Reveliers added to the festive atmosphere. Radio personality DJ J-Mac from 97.9 The Box kept the energy high as the official DJ for the event.

The pep rally aimed to promote the Wilkerson Color Run, set to take place on February 23, 2024. This school-wide fun run, organized by the PTO, serves as the main fundraiser for the year, promoting fitness and physical activity among the student body. Thanks to the efforts of dedicated volunteers, 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the school.

The Wilkerson Intermediate School Color Run Pep Rally was a vibrant success, setting the stage for an equally colorful and fun-filled event next week, all in support of a great cause.
