Woodlands College Park Celebrates Jolie A. Bolton's Safe Kids 2023 Pioneer Award and Honors Late Lt.

The Woodlands College Park High School Principal, Dr. Mark Murrell, was proud to present Jolie A. Bolton with the Safe Kids 2023 Pioneer Award honoring her late father, Lt. Joel A. Bolton, for his work in forming Safe Kids over 25 years ago.

Safe Kids has served over 2 million children and now has over 200,000 certified car seat safety technicians. LtCol Mauery, Director of The College Park MCJROTC program, was also awarded a donation of $4,000 in honor of Lt. Joel A. Bolton.

The Woodlands College Park MCJROTC Armed Drill Team are the current National Champions. They are currently preparing to head back to Daytona, FL, to defend their All-Service National Title.

Jolie is a junior at College Park, a proud member of the MCJROTC, and serves as a College Park Ambassador. She plans to major in criminal justice at Sam Houston State University.

The Woodlands College Park Assistant Principal and Director of The College Park Ambassadors, Mr. Clint Holden, MCJROTC Booster President Erik Best, MCJROTC Booster Vice President Travis Packer, and MCJROTC Booster Secretary, Elizabeth Rickard joined in the presentation.
