Empowering Children with Disabilities: Texas Lions Camp Registration Now Open!
The Conroe Noon Lions Club is excited to announce that registration for the Texas Lions Camp's summer sessions is now open. This unique camp, located in Kerrville, Texas, offers a variety of activities and experiences for children with disabilities, all at no cost to their families.
The camp hosts two sessions specifically for children with diabetes and ten other sessions for children with physical disabilities, ages 7-16. Unlike traditional approaches that group children by diagnosis, the Texas Lions Camp mainstreams campers by age and gender, fostering teamwork, empathy, and gratitude. Activities include horseback riding, fishing, camping, crafts, and swimming, all designed to instill a 'CAN DO' attitude. The Conroe Noon Lions are actively seeking campers for this year's sessions and encourage interested families to reach out.
Families interested in this empowering experience for their children can visit www.lionscamp.com for more information or contact the Conroe Noon Lions Club at 936-760-1666.
Remember, there is no cost to the family for this incredible opportunity.
